The Brentwood Insider would like to welcome their new tenant Minuteman Press to Brentwood's retail and office hub, Sand Creek Plaza. Their convenient location at 200 Sand Creek Road suite E, (next to Fremont Bank) and across the street from the Sand Creek Business Center, will be appreciated by businesses and individuals alike. Holiday De Lites began through the efforts of the Rivertown District Merchant's efforts to help economically disadvantaged children enjoy the holiday season and holding true to tradition. Toys will be collected for Grannies Anonymous to be distributed to local children during the holidays. The Holiday parade starts first, then comes the Christmas tree lighting ceremony, and finally the lighted boat parade which begins on the river at 6:00pm. Website

Dress up your boat and turn up your music, let's make this the brightest and loudest Christmas ever! Santa will arrive by boat before the parade about 4pm. If you have a young child, bring a wrapped gift for Santa to give them. The Christmas parade features music and decorated boats. This year's theme is A Christmas Carole. The parade starts and ends at the San Joaquin Yacht Club. It goes around the island clockwise. You can view the boat parade at the Club, The Rusty Porthole, or your favorite waterfront location.
