Sand Creek Road Extension Memorandum
| Sand Creek Road Extension Memorandum
Construction on the extension of Sand Creek Road, east of Brentwood Blvd., is now paved and nearing completion. The completion date is projected to be March of 2010. This street extension should connect Sand Creek Road to Sellers Avenue and serve as an excellent cross-town transportation link for both Brentwood residents and residents of the surrounding communities. The 65-acre Sciortino Ranch, which was recently approved for development, by the Brentwood City Council, will be fronting and gaining access on the Sand Creek Road extension. Sand Creek Road will be carrying traffic that currently uses Lone Tree Way and Balfour Road to travel across the city. Infrastructure improvements such as these have proven to be fantastic incentives for development, as well as making overall traffic conditions in the City and surrounding areas favorable.
