Week Of The Young Child

This 9th annual, free festival offers activities for children age five and younger and valuable information to help parents raise healthy and active children. Vasco Caves Regional Preserve Hike
Sunday April 25th 9:00am
Come experience spring's riches among Vasco's spectacular rock outcrops and vernal pools. Walk through a habitat for eagles and various nesting and migrating raptors hunting bountiful prey in robust restored grasslands. This archaeological site contain Indian rock art, and part of a complex reaching back nearly 10,000 years. This Preserve is accessible through guided tours only, staging from Round Valley Regional Preserve aboard district provided bus transportation. Ages 10+, price is $36 each.
