Brentwood Police Reach Out To Seniors
| Brentwood Police Reach Out To Seniors The city of Brentwood, CA is reaching out to seniors to find out what more it can do to protect them. A small group of older residents and their advocates began meeting with the Brentwood Police Department in January to discuss how they can equip this growing segment of the city's population with the savvy it needs to avoid becoming a crime statistic. About a dozen people responded to the Police Department's invitation to join the Triad Council. The council plans to poll the elderly to find out what their crime-related concerns are and brainstorm possible solutions.

Delta Realtors Community Service Foundation is holding an annual poker run for local charities. We start at Devil Mountain Harley Davidson and end up out on Bethel Island. The ride takes you along the Delta as much as possible. Counting Devil Mountain there is a total of 6 stops along the ride. We are also looking for sponsors and volunteers to help with the event. There will be Raffle prizes, a 50-50 drawing, great food and good music.
