| Katrina Propels Cajun Cuisine To Brentwood In just two weeks, Chef Le'Roy Crump has made a name for himself in Brentwood by cooking up contagiously delicious Cajun cuisine at Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill. The Louisiana native offered an easy smile and a hearty chuckle when discussing his newfound California fame, but behind the twinkle in his eye hung a shadow that even California sunshine can't completely dissolve.
One of Crump's happiest discoveries is that people in California enjoy a variety of foods. "When you think of Californians, you assume they are very health conscious vegans and vegetarians, but I've come to find that the people here are meat-and-potato people - my kind of people."
